Beach Leagues 2021

at the DOME (2825 24th Ave NW)

Registration for our summer BEACH Leagues at the old Volleydome outdoor beach courts on 24th Ave. is open until into July. Game times will be split between wave times as evenly as possible.

 

REGISTRATIONS FOR ALL BEACH LEAGUES REQUIRE FULL PAYMENT BY PAYPAL

Sunday Co-Ed Beach Doubles - max 24 teams. 3 waves - play 5:00 to 6:30. 6:30 to 8:00 or 8:00 to 9:30 July 4 to August 29 (no play Aug. 1) / 8 weeks - $160 per team

 

Tuesday Women's Doubles - max 16 teams. 2 waves - play 6:00 to 7:30. 7:30 to 9:00 June 29 to Aug. 24. / 9 weeks - $180 per team

Wednesday Men's Doubles - max 16 teams. 2 waves - play 6:00 to 7:30. 7:30 to 9:00 June 30 to Aug. 25. / 9 weeks - $180 per team

Adult Drop-In

ADULT Individual Drop-In & Youth Individual Drop-IN will remain closed for the time being.

Advance court bookings for indoor courts are available at the both the DOME and the GYM and we will need to collect payment and contact information for attendees in advance.

Adult - Beach Leagues

About Beach Leagues

The Volleydome has brought back it's indoor beach courts, and they're better than ever. With a new seating/viewing area and plenty of space to serve, these courts are made for competition. We'll be opening up league play with a Thursday men's league, and a women's league to follow shortly. Stay tuned for news about future adult beach leagues.

 

Leagues will always be divided by the days of the week, with each day offering a unique League program. Each team is placed in a certain skill bracket at the start of the season, and depending on how well a team plays they will move up and down tiers throughout the season. Each season varies in length, and registration for new teams opens up roughly 3 months before each season begins. Seasons will be approximately as follows:

  • Winter (January - February)

  • Spring (March - May)

  • Summer (June - August)

  • Fall (September - November)

 

Times

Depending on number of teams, each team plays once a week in two separate best-of-3 matches. Throughout the season your team will play at varying time slots, One week you may play at 7:30 pm, while another week you might play at 9:00 pm. In very rare cases (such as when a team drops out mid-season or during playoffs) your team might play one or three matches, but you will never be required to play on a different day of the week.

The Volleydome's Beach leagues will be played at our DOME location only (2825 24th Ave NW).
