About Volleydome Camps

Want to learn some Volleyball during the break?


The Volleydome has been successfully running volleyball camps for youth in Calgary for 20+ years.
Our most popular Volleyball camps are 1/2 day camps geared towards beginner and recreational players looking to learn and improve in basic volleyball skills. These are run regularly during the Summer, Winter, and over Spring Breaks and include both boys and girls (separated for older age groups if numbers allow).

Also offered during the Summer are Team/Games Camps for kids with previous Volleyball experience looking for gameplay-specific development; and additional camps for Advanced/Competitive Club Level athletes. The Volleydome has been successfully running youth Volleyball camps in Calgary since 1994.

Winter Break Camps

2025 VOLLEYDOME WINTER BREAK CAMPS - HARDCOURT

BEG/INT CAMPS 


The Volleydome will again run 1/2 day indoor camps for Beginner/Intermediate players during the Winter Break with sections for grades 3/4, 5/6 or 7-9. Camps will be focused on individual skill development and learning the game in a fun and relaxed environment with gameplay on the final day (game format and modifications will be determined based on overall numbers).


Camps Below are scheduled at our current GYM Location (#250, 10 Stonehill Pl NE).


Underage registrations for camps are tentative and may be refunded/removed if we end up with a waitlist.​ 


Camp Dates/Options:

• Grades 7-9: December 27-30 from 1-4pm (4 days, Sat-Tues) - $126

• Grades 3/4: December 29-30 from 9am-12pm (2 days, Mon/Tues) - $66

O'Saxman 2026 Tournaments

Volleydome's O'Saxman Volleyball Club will be hosting hard-court 6v6 volleyball tournaments this 2026 Winter season for a variety of age groups. All events will take place at the Volleydome GYM, and our popular O'Saxman prizes will be given out to the top 3 teams.

Sundays will feature standard 6v6 tournaments, but on Saturdays we will be running 3v3 tournaments.

We believe these 3v3 tournaments will offer more development to athletes by giving them more playing time, more contacts on the ball and more decision-making opportunities, and developing their all-around skill as volleyball players.

3 vs 3 Rules:
- 4.5m x 9m court with the correct age division net height and ball

- No rotation except for service order

- All teams welcome. You do not need to play with athletes from your club team.

- All adult volleyball rules apply (allowed to handpass, etc)

- Tournaments will be self officiated except for the finals (Similar to Volleyball Alberta Beach Tournaments)

We are experimenting with this new format for the first time, new so rules may be implemented as gameplay evolves.
