About Volleydome Camps
Want to learn some Volleyball during the break?
The Volleydome has been successfully running volleyball camps for youth in Calgary for 20+ years.
Our most popular Volleyball camps are 1/2 day camps geared towards beginner and recreational players looking to learn and improve in basic volleyball skills. These are run regularly during the Summer, Winter, and over Spring Breaks and include both boys and girls (separated for older age groups if numbers allow).
Also offered during the Summer are an Intro to Beach & Intermediate Beach; Team/Games Camps for kids with previous Volleyball experience looking for gameplay specific development; and additional camps for Advanced/Competitive Club Level athletes. The Volleydome has been successfully running youth Volleyball camps in Calgary since 1994.

2023 VOLLEYDOME SUMMER CAMPS - HARDCOURT
BEG/INT CAMPS

The Volleydome will again run 1/2 day indoor camps for Beginner/Intermediate players as well as our Teams/Games camps for more advanced athletes. Options for Beach Camps can be viewed below and additional camp options for Advanced/Club Level athletes will be added as schedules and registration become available towards the end of the indoor season. See specific schedules and prices below.
BEGINNER/INTERMEDIATE
Focused on individual skill development and learning the game in a fun and relaxed environment. Most camps will include a Friday gameplay/tournament day (as numbers allow).

TEAM/GAMES CAMPS (Intermediate+)
Focused on team systems, game-play tactics, and skill progressions for those who already have a good grasp of the basic skills and rules of volleyball. Appropriate for those with previous game experience who can consistently execute in passing, setting, attacking, and serving.
Underage registrations will not be accepted for the Team/Games camp unless recommended by Volleydome coaches and are dependant on overall numbers.

2023 VOLLEYDOME SUMMER CAMPS - BEACH
BEACH REGISTRATION OPEN
For 2021 we will once again offer Intro to Beach Camps for kids interested in learning the beach game. Open for anyone just getting started with beach volleyball.
New this year we have also added Intermediate Beach for those kids who have already attended an Intro to Beach camp or similar program and are interested in expanding on their beach volleyball skills and game tactics. See specific schedules and prices below.
BEACH Camps are at our DOME Location (2825 24th Ave NW, Across from U of C).
Beach camps will be held outdoors as much as possible, but will move indoors as needed depending on weather conditions. Sand socks are recommended for sunny days.
INTRO TO BEACH (BEGINNER)

INTERMEDIATE BEACH
Appropriate for those with previous Beach Volleyball experience and an understanding of the rules for doubles play. Underage registrations will not be accepted for the intermediate beach camps unless recommended by Volleydome coaches and are dependant on camp numbers.

DOMELETICS SUMMER CAMP
Join us for a half-day Summer Camp dedicated to movement, fun and skill-building. The Summer Camp will follow the Domeletics model of teaching fundamental movement skills along with cooperative games and integrating volleyball-specific skills.

ELEVATION ATHLETICS
2023 VOLLEYBALL CAMPS
Head Coach Jason Crellin: A former university player, with 20-plus years of coaching experience at all levels from junior high, high school, club, provincial team and university level. Currently one of the lead coaches at Canuck and Dome Defenders.
Skill Level: Advanced - Club Level
U13 Boys: (boys going into grade 7)
This camp will work on skill development for advanced players who want improvement in all areas of their game and be ready for school team tryouts. These camps are specifically targeting players to get ready for their school team tryouts reviewing all basic skills, movement skills and team drills.
