Youth - Private Sessions

Athletes of any age and skill level may call to book court time for personal one-on-one coaching. To set up a private session, you must first contact a coach directly, then book a time (or have the coach book). In some cases, more than one athlete can be accommodated. Usually times must be booked before 4:30 on weekdays in order to get a court.

Hourly Court Rates:
$30 for 1 athlete (if booked through Volleydome Coaches)
$40 for 1 athlete with non Volleydome coaches.

$60 for 2 or more athletes on court.
These prices include GST. The instructor's time is additional and set by individual coaches.

Archie Lee

Archie is a volleyball coach with over 10 years of experience as a setter and outside hitter. Before joining the Volleydome team, he developed a strong foundation in both technical skills and game strategy. His coaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that it’s never too late to start where every athlete has the potential to grow and succeed. Archie empowers players by focusing on injury prevention, proper biomechanics, and muscular development, while tailoring training to each athlete’s unique needs. He believes in evolving with the game, not staying fixed in one way of thinking. By studying high-level volleyball and professional play, he continuously updates his coaching methods to reflect the latest techniques and trends—ensuring his athletes stay competitive, confident, and prepared for the modern game.

Faith Obasi

Faith Obasi plays as a middle for the Mount Royal Women’s Volleyball team, currently pursuing a degree in physical literacy which is a program that emphasizes the holistic development of individuals through physical activity and inspires lifelong activity. Her academic background, experience as a coach, and experience as a player provides her with a deep understanding of movement, health, and leadership, all of which she hopes to pass onto future athletes. 

 

Faith’s coaching philosophy, “Play with Audacity,” encourages athletes to be bold, embrace challenges, and take up space with confidence. She believes that those who put in the work and bring a tenacious spirit, while balancing being compassionate and a good teammate deserves their place on the court. Faith fosters an environment where effort and resilience are celebrated, empowering players to push past their comfort zone and unlock their full potential. With Faith, athletes will learn to trust their abilities, support others, and play fearlessly.

Toluwani Wuraola

Tolu has been coaching Dome Club for 6 years and is going into his 2nd year of coaching for Dome Defenders.

​

Tolu coaches with heart, reflection, and purpose. As a middle who’s also played every position, he brings intensity and care to every practice with a belief that growth is just as important as results.

Tolu create space where players feel safe to try, proud to progress, and grounded in who they are. Every athlete brings their own rhythm, and he coaches with that in mind. Tolu's goal is to help each athlete leave the gym stronger, more self-aware, and more connected than when they arrived.

Keira Crellin

Keira is a second-year student-athlete at Ambrose University, currently playing as a setter. She played her first year at Vancouver Island University, where her team placed 1st in the PacWest conference and went on to earn 3rd place at CCAA Nationals. She was honored to be named a CCAA 2nd Team All-Star at Nationals. Before university, She played club volleyball with Canuck from U12 to U18.
 

Keira is passionate about coaching and loves helping young athletes build their skills, technique, and confidence on the court. She offers private sessions for athletes aged U12–U17, including one-on-one training, small group sessions, and setter-specific sessions. Whether you're just getting started or looking to sharpen your game, Keira is here to support your growth.

Anthony Cheung

Anthony is an experienced developmental coach that has been training youth athletes over the past decade. Anthony's coaching focuses on building an all-around understanding and foundation for competitive game play. He is Certified with NCCP level 1 volleyball coaching certificate. 

​

Anthony also offers adult clinics providing additional repetitions with detailed technical feedback to excel in competition. He is available to work with individual athletes on select skills or complete game play situations with small groups.

Brianna Flanigan

Brianna played as a middle before joining the coaching staff at the Volleydome. She regularly coaches groups of all ages and levels including U13 Dome Defenders this past season.

Brianna is available to help U12-U16 players in all positions learn and hone new skills.

Brian Gullekson

2025 marks Brian's 45th year involved in competitive sports as a coach, official and administrator. He is a level 2 NCCP certified coach in both Softball and Volleyball.

Brian is available to run private skill development sessions for individuals and small groups of all ages

Chhase McFarlen

Chhase has the ability to look through the lens of a coach, athlete and healthcare professional. He played his post-secondary career at Camosun College and UNB Fredericton as a left-side/libero and was invited to the Full-Time Training Centre upon graduation. He chose to pursue beach volleyball and chiropractic college instead. He specializes in passing, defense and arm-swing technique and he is currently assisting for the SAIT Men's Team with fellow Volleydome Coach, Grant O'Gorman. Chhase loves working with athletes of all ages and wants you to have as much fun as he has.

Grant O'Gorman

Grant O’Gorman has been a member of our beach volleyball national team the past 11 years. He is the Head coach of the SAIT Men's Volleyball team. He also played libero for York University in Toronto. 

 

He can coach children and adults of any age group. Beach or indoor!

Jon Isaacs

Jon has played for the Bahamas Sr/Jr national team, and the SAIT Trojans as a Middle and Rightside. In the 2017/18 season he coached the Canuck U14 and Jr Canuck U15/16 teams and recently completed the season with the Canuck U18 Men's program. Jon presently competes on the Norceca beach volleyball tour.


Jon offers training for youth and adults at all skill levels. He provides individual and group training for beach and indoor athletes. His sessions promise lots of reps, and technical adjustments.
